Maintaining Information and Cybersecurity

David Gristwood

Senior Learning Designer

I am delighted to announce that our new Maintaining Information and Cybersecurity pathway is live in our GRC library from today. It’s filled with interactive and useful takeaways, including:

  • Information security – When it goes wrong
  • Information and cybersecurity controls
  • Information and cybersecurity good practices
  • Phishing and browsing securely
  • Installing an information and cybersecurity culture
  • Assessment
  • Summary of key points

For a little taster of this great new content, take a look at the video below:

WE ARE ARCHIVING THE LEGACY "INFORMATION SECURITY" AND "CYBERCRIME" TITLES ON 1ST MAY 2020 – HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

In our legacy suite we have two pathways containing a total of nine activities:

Information security

  • Information security - When it goes wrong
  • What is information security?
  • Reducing information security risk
  • Maintaining information security
  • Information security - Assessment

Cybercrime

  • Cybercrime - Introductory video
  • Cybercrime - eLearning activities
  • Cybercrime - Assessment
  • Cybercrime - Summary of key points

As this legacy content is being archived they will no longer be supported, updated or maintained. Where users have been registered to the legacy content these will remain in users‘ ‘My Activities’ even after archiving. Users will either need to complete them or administrators will need to cancel the registration.

The legacy content will also remain in existing pathways, for example, those created and used for induction, until they are removed.

You may also want to then add the new content to those pathways.

Where learners have already completed these courses, the CPD achieved will remain.
