NEWS: SkillsServe Named No.1 LMS for Financial Services

SkillsServe, Unicorn's fully featured learning and performance platform, has been ranked the world's number one LMS for the financial sector, according to a respected research report on the world's top LMSs.

NumberOneLMS The State of the LMS Industry report is published every year  by leading industry expert Craig Weiss. The latest report reviews over 600 platforms and ranks the top 50 according to capabilities, features, design, user interface, support and service, and future thinking. As well as being rated top platform for the finance sector, Unicorn’s SkillsServe also achieved an impressive eighth place in the overall global rankings.

In his review, Craig Weiss highlighted some of the SkillsServe features that differentiate our platform from the competition, including:

  • Full video course tracking
  • Ability to shoot video as user generated content with a smartphone or tablet and publish directly into the LMS
  • Personalised learner dashboards
  • Mobile App for recording and tracking CPD progress offline, then re-synch back online
Most notably, Craig predicts that the next big thing in the LMS market will be built-in authoring tools. We couldn’t agree more. That’s why the eCreator, SkillsServe’s very own integrated authoring tool, is attracting so much interest among our clients and partners. Very few authoring tools can match its flexibility and ease of use. You can find out more about the eCreator here. eCreator Peter Phillips, Unicorn CEO, said “We’re delighted to receive this accolade from such a respected independent source.  To be rated the number one LMS in the financial sector is testament to the hard work and excellence of our design, development and support teams. But it also reflects on the input from our partners and clients who play a vital role in ensuring that the continuous improvement of the platform focus on providing features and solutions with real world benefits.” Founder and CEO of E-Learning 24/7, Craig Weiss was named the second most influential person in the world for eLearning in 2014.
