SkillsServe 4.11 Release Notes
We’re pleased to announce SkillsServe 4.11 launched in February 2014.
What’s new in this version?
Google Maps in Events
|Is it a new feature or an upgrade?||This is an upgrade to the way Events are displayed in SkillsServe.|
|How it works…||You can now configure the top level domain extension in the Google Maps link to better reflect the location of Events. When clicking on the postcode in the location details section of an Event, SkillsServe will automatically direct you to Google Maps detailing where the Event is being held. So, for instance, you can configure the link to end in .co.uk, .com, .es, .de or whatever top level domain you want it to end with.|
|Why is this beneficial?||This can help to avoid any potential confusion between addresses in America (.com) and other countries. If you are predominantly UK based, for instance, you may prefer that your users view the UK version of Google Maps.|
|Default or configurable?||This feature is configurable. Please speak to your account manager for further information.|
