SkillsServe 4.13 Release Notes
We’re pleased to announce SkillsServe 4.13 launched in February 2014.
What’s new in this version?
User Specific Pricing
|Is it a new feature or an upgrade?||This is an upgrade to the purchasing options in SkillsServe.|
|How it works…||Administrators can now set multiple prices on an activity for each configured currency. These can be assigned to user groups, displaying different prices to different people. For instance if your SkillsServe site has a membership group, you can set up one price for members and another for non-members.|
If two prices are available to a user, the cheapest will be shown by default.
|Why is this beneficial?||This allows for prices to be more flexible and relative to certain groups of users on SkillsServe.|
|Default or configurable?||This is a default part of SkillsServe for sites which support payment options for activities.|
Accessing Content via Find Learning / Catalogue
|Is it a new feature or an upgrade?||This is an upgrade to the Catalogue of courses in SkillsServe.|
|How it works…||When viewing an activity in the Catalogue / Find Learning section clicking the Launch button will automatically register users to the course as it opens the activity. This applies to activities which users are able to register themselves to.|
|Why is this beneficial?||This feature saves users time between registering for courses and launching them, helping to make SkillsServe more user-friendly.|
|Default or configurable?||This is a configurable part of SkillsServe 4.13. Please speak to your account manager for more details.|
